We identify families at risk of displacement. Using nonprofit capital, Arbor Cibus Development purchases the property, immediately halting eviction. We enter a stewardship contract that grants the family exclusive rights to buy the home back. The family stays rooted; the healing begins.
Regenerative Transformation
The family commits to transforming their yard into a productive Urban Food Forest. We teach them to replace grass and concrete with permaculture systems—fruit trees, native pollinators, and medicinal crops. The land becomes a source of nutrition for the family and abundance for the community.
Holistic Education
Ownership requires more than a deed; it requires skills. Participants undergo a rigorous curriculum of life-changing education, including:
